Purpose vs Personality

with Breathe and Splash Swim School Located in Miami, Florida

In this week's Blog, you'll learn more about our Purpose vs Personality Initiatives.

“For too long, Florida’s benchmark has been drowning prevention. At Breathe and Splash Swim School, we are here to raise the bar — to celebrate a new standard of confidence, capability, and joy in the water," Christine Garrido, Founder of Breathe and Splash

Every child and adult deserves to know how to swim, and every community deserves access to the resources that make that possible.

Mission 1st

Our Mission: To provide a fun, comfortable and empowering environment for infants, children, and adults to swim, be connected and at ease with water while developing their CAP- Courage, Awareness, and Perseverance. Awareness, and Perseverance.

Mission first. Keep hydrating yourself and the flowers, and the IMPOSSIBLE will become POSSIBLE. It is all a choice. When in the water, you can elect whichever personality you want with the kids. I encourage it, if it gets 1 closer to their goal.  Command it and don’t allow the kids to. Simply appreciate it and then redirect your attention to what matters.

Mission first. Know your why and place all your attention on that. Just like the flowers need attention and nourishment, the kids do as well. As their coach, we are to fulfill their needs in the water. They become our kids. Let the kids’ parents trust you. Be entirely committed to your WHY and to the result of the child achieving their goal. Strive for progress. Strive for perfection. Strive for the best. Being purposeful is primary. Personality is secondary.
